Chat Commands

ProAdd-on

Players run the Garage from game chat. The reply in game is short, because the game truncates and boxes it; the detail goes to the player's Discord DMs.

The commands

!store

Store the dino you are playing. The rules are checked first; a refusal names the rule. On success the dino is taken off the server and the voucher lands in your Discord DMs with everything it holds.

!restore <number>

Restore one of your stored dinos by the number in the list. Numbers count oldest first and stay stable, so the number you read a moment ago still points at the same dino.

!restore <species>

Restore by species name. Short forms work: rex, trex, trike, tricera, teno, carno, allo, dilo and the like all resolve against your own vouchers, so a typo cannot pick someone else's.

!slay

Kill your current dino on the spot, with a cooldown. Useful when you want to restore onto a fresh body and the server does not allow storing where you stand.

!help

A one-line list of the commands this server has switched on in game, and the full list with your numbered vouchers and their expiry in your Discord DMs.

How replies work

The plugin sees chat as it happens and hands each command to the bot. The bot answers with an in-game direct message that fits the game's box, about 130 characters, and sends the long form to the player's Discord DMs: the numbered list of their vouchers, server, name, Steam id and the time left on each. A player who has not linked Steam gets told to link it first.

ℹ️
Note
The game's direct message format cannot carry commas; Arkanis writes them as separators automatically, so a reply is never cut short.

Switching commands on and off

Each command has its own switch per server under Integration Settings, and there is a master switch for chat commands. A switched-off command answers with what is available. The slay cooldown is its own setting.
