Server lifecycle and configuration without leaving Discord. Start / stop / restart servers, browse files, read and edit configs (including a one-click open for Game.ini), and send console commands. Works with both Pterodactyl and its Pelican fork. Pro feature. Available via /pterodactyl panel in Discord.
What is this?
The Pterodactyl / Pelican integration surface. Configure one or more panel connections, then control every game server attached to that panel directly from Discord or the dashboard. File browser, config editor, power controls, console: all authenticated through the panel's own API rather than direct SSH.
Why you might want it
RCON is for live game-server actions (kick, ban, announce); Pterodactyl / Pelican is for the host lifecycle (start, restart, edit Game.ini, view files). Most servers want both. With the panel wired up, staff can reboot a frozen world or patch a misbehaving config without opening the hosting dashboard or sharing panel credentials.
How it appears in Discord
Staff with the panel_pterodactyl capability run /pterodactyl panel in Discord to open the ephemeral staff panel below. Pelican users run the same command; the integration is provider-aware.
Where it lives in the dashboard
On the dashboard the Pterodactyl / Pelican Panel sits in the Infrastructure sidebar section, between RCON Panel and SFTP Logs Panel.
Start / stop / restart servers, browse and edit files, send console commands.
How to open this panel
Pick your server, then click Infrastructure → Pterodactyl / Pelican. The page shows every connected panel and the servers attached to each, with quick power controls and a file browser.
Staff with panel_pterodactyl run /pterodactyl panel. Requires Pro and at least one configured panel connection.
What you can do from here
Connect to a Pterodactyl or Pelican panel using its API URL and a client API key. List all servers visible to that key and link them to your guild. See Pterodactyl / Pelican Integration.
Start, stop, restart, and (as a last resort) kill any connected server. Each action is audit-logged with the actor's identity.
Navigate the file tree, read configs and logs, or edit a file in place. The integration writes through the panel API, not over SFTP, so your panel's activity log captures the change.
For Evrima servers, Quick: Game.ini jumps straight to the canonical config file instead of making you find the right path. Saves a couple of minutes per tweak.
When you need to send a command that's not exposed in the structured actions, the console-access endpoint forwards your input as a raw console line.
Get a signed download link for large files (logs, world snapshots) so you can grab them locally without crashing Discord with a multi-megabyte attachment.
Who can use this panel
panel_pterodactyl— opens the dashboard panel and the Discord/pterodactyl panelcommand.pterodactyl_view— read-only access (server list, file browse, file read).pterodactyl_control— power controls (start / stop / restart / kill) and console-command send.pterodactyl_files— edit and download files.panel_pterodactyl_connection— add, edit, or remove panel connections (high-trust; gates hosting credentials).
See Roles & Permissions. Adding or rotating a panel connection opens a re-auth window since it changes how Arkanis can act on your hosting account.
